2. A surprise recognition from Contra
A few days ago, I got a message from Contra. They had featured me as one of the top freelance mobile designers in Serbia to hire in 2025. I didn’t apply for it. I didn’t even know they had this kind of recognition list to be most honest.
I just joined Contra to showcase my work, find great clients, and help build beautiful products. So this was… a very welcome surprise. And honestly? It meant a lot.
3. Why this means something to me
As a designer and founder, I’ve always believed in the power of great UI and UX. Not just because it looks good-but because it builds trust. And trust is what turns visitors into users. And users into paying customers.
I learned it while I was building my own startup Razmeni. I took countless hours to read all I could about UI and UX, as I read that that changes needle. All possible articles and comments about UI and UX that I could get my hands on. Probably too perfectionist for my first product.
But looks like it paid out, as now I understand how important UI and UX is for users. And I transfer that to my clients in every app that I make.
This recognition tells me: ✅ I’m on the right track ✅ People are noticing the care behind my design decisions ✅ Our work is starting to speak for itself
4. Design that does its job
I’ve never been about flashy or over-styled design. What I aim for is simple:
- Minimalist layouts that feel clean and focused
- High-contrast elements to guide user attention
- Conversion-focused structure
- And fluid UX that makes people want to stay
We design for startups, creators, and coaches - typically starting with web apps optimized for mobile (custom nav menus, app-like transitions, all built in Bubble). Later on, we scale into native apps when it makes sense.
Every design we ship is about this balance: Visual wow + usability that moves the needle.
Everyone who visited our website at Razmeni.rs was in wow, as it didn't look like "no-code".
Good UI attracts visitors. Good UX converts and retains customers. This is how I think about it.
It’s never just about “making something look good.” It’s about building something people trust instantly. A design that gives them the confidence to click, explore, or buy.
Because when you’re building a startup, you can’t afford to lose users at first glance.
5. The projects that got me here
Two projects definitely shaped my journey-and probably helped land this recognition:
Razmeni.rs platform
Our own marketplace for parents to exchange children items. We went through multiple redesigns to get the UI and UX just right - and now, users love it. It’s simple, smooth, and delightful to use.
P.S. We even hired awesome designer to help us out at the start and build first screens that were awesome! Shout out to Bojan! Check his work @ BojanBDesign - he does some high-level design work!
Actually - if Bojan didn't make these screens for us, i wouldn't import it from Figma to Bubble... Would probably never start to build app from scratch... Would probably never have idea to learn to build apps on my own.... Would probably never finish Razmeni.... And would probably never be in position to help other startups with their apps.
Ain't that crazy...
But anyhow, as we were building out and learning more about branding and perfecting our product, we changed design. We changed UI's, flows, pages, and UX. And then landed on awesome piece of product, that attracted more than 1k parents on platform!
(We dropped ball on the business model, so now Razmeni is not moving... But I will write about it in other topic.)
Our Eterna agency
It’s the first touchpoint for all eyes interested in what we do. So we treated it like a product - clear copy, smart visuals, buttery UX, and mobile polish. It’s clean, engaging, and 100% designed to convert.
Probably the most advanced design-to-date that we made. Even though it's more of a website than app - it does it's job.
(Soon there will be a lot of sub-apps for founders coming so it will become an app - actually...)

6. A quick thank you
Thanks to Contra for the recognition, and thanks to the amazing clients who’ve trusted me with their ideas so far. This was unexpected - but appreciated.
And it’s only the beginning...
7. Final Thought
If you’re building something great, you need design that helps you tell the story. Design that feels right from the first scroll.
